KENTUCKY

January 22, Morning: I was a guest for local TV station’s morning show, “Great Day Live” in Kentucky. I was interviewed by Whas (ABC) TV anchor, Rachel Platt. This is my first appearance in American TV. (photo 1)

January 23, evening (7 pm): Delivering a key speech and presentation at the Annual Lecture on Asian Democracy at the Center for Asian Democracy University of  Louisville. The event took place on 7 pm, at the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John’s Stadium. About 100 attended my session amid bad weather and heavy snow. (Photo 2)

January 24, afternoon: lecturing and Q & A session with students and lecture of diplomatic course at University of Kentucky, about three hour drive from Louisville. (Photo 3)

January 24, evening: I had a visiting meeting to a leading local newspaper, Herald Leader’s office in Lexington. The same paper printed a full page of my story a day before that.  (Photo 4 & 5).

January 26: Me and my wife, visited Mohammad Ali “The greatest” Museum which located at the town center in Louisville. We had a chance to see difference personality of Ali as a boxer, poet, artist and human rights activist.  (Photo 6)

WASHINGTON

30 Jan: Appeared in AlJazeera’s AJ Stream live to talk about the issue of editorial cartoon and cartoonists around the world. The 45 minutes program also featured cartoonist from Philadelphia, Brazil & Sudan. While talking and responded to the questions, I also did a live sketch of the hosts, Femi Oke and Milaka. 30 Jan: Talk, Q&A and the launching of my latest book, Pirate of the Carry-BN at the prominent book store, Bus Boy and Poets. (photo 9).

2 Feb: Invited as a guest at the Cartoonist Rights Network International’s board director meeting at the Herblock Foundation. The late Herblock is American legendary political cartoonist.
