Gedung Kartun is the first political cartoon megazine in Malaysia. Lead by Zunar, several Malaysian cartoonists such as Jonos, Ronasina also involved. Immediately after the magazine hit the street, Zunar’s office was raided by eight officers from the Home Ministry [Kementerian Dalam Negeri or KDN] and 408 copies of Gedung Kartun were seized followed by the banning of the megazine.
Gedung Kartun touched on many current affairs including, among others, the Internal Security Act, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the death of Teoh Beng Hock, and the Port Klang Free Zone scandal.

Gedung Kartun adlah majalah kartun politik pertama di Malaysa. Diketuai oleh Zunar, beberapa kartunis Malaysia termasuk Jonos dan Ronasina juga terlibat. Sebaik sahaja ia beredar di pasaran, pejabat Zunar diserbu oleh lapan pegawai Kementerian Dalam Negeri. Mereka merampas 408 naskah majalah terebut dan ia kemudiannya diharamkan.
Gedung Kartun menyentuh isu-isu semasa termasuk ISA, PM Najib dan isterinya Rosmah, kematian Teoh Beng Hock dan skandal PKFZ.
